The manager at our local restaurant has a big issue with the genetic disability that my brother and I both suffer with. We feel discriminated against as he has said that we have been given our final warning, suggesting that we will be banned soon. We have a genetic blood disorder, and he insists that we do not leave blood on a napkin or anywhere else. We are federally protected according to Americans with disabilities act, and he cannot require us to cleanup blood. The owner said that we can only visit the restaurant if we cleanup the blood as it is a biohazard safety concern which is not true since neither my brother nor I have any contagious diseases or transmittable infections. Other restaurants are familiar with our disability and have no issue at all with our bleeding disorder. The owner will not respond to any of my emails, so I had no choice but to post on their Facebook page but as a childish and cowedly act the owner banned me from their Facebook page.

When the NDIS in Australia was in the trial, people were treating disabled peopel like we were the most important in the sector. I was deferred to. Then two governments worth of painting us out to be drains on society who are misspending funding later, this video is a much needed point for reflection thank you.

I have an E bike that is "THROTTLE CONTROLLED"..I have a physical condition that puts me in TWO handicapped classes.(age (81) and physical)... My City and County does not allow "MY TYPE OF E BIKE" ----into their park..However, they allow "PEDAL ASSISTED" E bikes. into their parks....Both the City and County are in violation of the Americans with Disability Act..What would be the best way to approach both parties..?

I guess we individuals with disabilities more easily take damage on either the inside or outside than anyone else would. I once had stress for a long time that made it feel as if I had a boss with 200% armor for flesh that would mangle or break anything as well as fury for his only emotion and an ability to run too fast to get outrun and a tendency to get woken up even by the quietest noise which would keep him from sleeping more than 2 hours in any 24-hour period! The equality act definition of gender reassignment' refers to "reassigning the person's sex". What does this actually mean and is it possible? The video suggests that dressing a certain way would be a process of re-assigning your sex. How does dressing a certain way re-assign sex as sex is surely different from gender, and sex is undeniably immutable? The sex remains the same, the clothes are different. Please no insults I'm honestly trying to understand.

i am looking for advice i was discriminated against for having a disability in school and it continued at other schools i also did not have rights to education and the schools violated my 504 plan and treated me terribly i also have proof of discrimination in my school records it started at a school called rosa parks interesting right a school named after a woman who stood up for equal rights i was abused by the school system and want to do something about it for myself and others because its not right this started at age 8 the school it started at got away with this along with the other schools that treated me differently and basically said that “i didnt need help with learning” as if i was lying about having a disability i was qualified for thats illegal and wrong and to try to paint a child as a narcissist and take away there rights to be successful its wrong. i even have proof that i brought up the discrimination when i was a child its in my school records they noted it as if i was just acting out there was no discussion about it and it wasnt addressed so now im a 20 year old with no education and because i met someone that lives in another school district i am currently living with i found a school and now have rights in another county if i didnt meet this man i wouldnt be able to get my diploma and peruse a career because my rights to be successful were being taken away they mentally abused me and even caused me to be suicidal at a young age my mom didnt care that things seemed off she never even realized how big of a deal this all was and barely advocated for me so she was not able to do a lawsuit about this and wouldn’t ever care to so im looking for help by myself and being my own advocate to get the justice i deserve if anyone has any opinions on what i can do to get a lawsuit let me know because i dont have the education to work i cant pay for a lawyer and i also need advice on how to get around the reporting date being passed i feel i should have the right to sue about this because it almost ruined my life because of what they did to me and also i did report this at a young age to my school so i dont really understand why that isnt enough to be accomidated to get the lawsuit its also noted in my school records that i was called “annoying” witch is part of the proof that i was being discriminated against unfortunately i cant post the other things they said because my post could get taken down but this is not okay at all and im hoping to get any advice on how to deal with this.

can you please stop talking about reassigning your SEX when you mean reassigning your gender. If people want to live in the stereotypical version of another sex to what they are, they are transgender. They cannot change their sex. If this is not clear under the Equality Act, then the Act needs to be amended.

My local council have refused me a Wet Room on a Lie. The OT came to assess me, I have psychogenic tremor, arthritis in both knees and I can't bath without pain - I can't kneel. I also have a narrowed Femoral artery and need an operation. I get disability allowance. The OT asked me, is it just about the bath? I said it was, I demonstrated the bath and the OT told me she had to see my bedroom - I told her it was just about the bath and said it was irrelevant as I had no problem with the bed, i.e I didn't have to climb into it or out of it. I received an email from social care Barnet informing me that I was not going to have a Wet Room because I REFUSED to demonstrate the Bath and Bed. Is this classed as discrimination? What Act have they breached?
